i have 5 days of classes left + FINALS!! i've basically checked out of my sociology class since i stopped showing up to that class. ahaha. oh well. i don't know if i'll show up today since i need to do my quiz for women's studies. after finals are over i'll practically have THREE MONTHS of summer vacation!! :D holla at a playa! who wants to hang out? haha i get to register on monday for the fall semester. i hope i get the classes i want/need :\ i'll be taking 16 units in the fall and so i'll have class EVERYDAY. oh joy! i plan on taking geology, chem 140 (lecture/lab/seminar), spanish 101b, and history 101. i can hardly wait!
the x-games is coming up!! woo!! i'm gona volunteer again this year :D

spring break is coming to an end. i go back to school on tuesday. well, technically monday since i have to make up a self-defense class. spring break wasnt the BEST but it had its moments. i dont really remember what i did during my spring break. i mostly stayed home or i hung out with friends. on sunday i finally showed up to church. haha palm sunday, the beginning of holy week. after church i went to lunch with denicar, her family, eliel, and his sister at goldilocks. i love hanging out with denicar and her fambam. i dont know what was up with me but i must've been REALLY thirsty. i had one glass of calamansi juice and 3 glasses of water. haha i would've had more but yeah. the food was good. our table was jampacked with food. i had shrimp fried rice, bbq pork, grilled bangus, and crispy pusit [aka calamari aka squid]. after goldilocks, i went with denicar and her parents to watch Take the Lead. it was a good movie. freakin dante bosco was in it. bahaha that made me laugh. it made it like ballroom dancing even more. :D so yeah, after that i dont remember what i did haha but on tuesday, shaneisha came over and redid my hair. denicar came over to hang out but we ended up going to cerritos mall. we just walked around and talked to kill some time. we went back to denicar's house and nicole came over too. i havent seen nicole in FOREVER. after nicole and shaneisha left, denicar went with me to go bowling in lake forest with my bud will and her friends. it was FUN. last time i talked to will, we had a discussion about twinkies ahaha i interviewed him for my sociology paper and we started talking about food. that's when i told him that i've never had a twinkie. ahaha he gave me money to buy a twinkie and i did. surprisingly twinkies aren't so bad. they're actually good but it wouldn't be something i could eat all the time. but anyway, i also brought a box of twinkies for will and everyone else. haha i did pretty well the first two games. i got a 123 and 102 and then it went down hill from there. denicar started beating me. boo. hehe oh well. i still had fun. i got scared shitless twice effin will snuck up on me after i bowled, but it was funnier when he did it to denicar. it's sad how will is the same height as denicar when he's sitting down and she's standing up. lmao so yeah, instead of being home by 10pm like my mom told me to i ended up getting home around 12:30am. haha it's not my fault no one was answering the phone and when i got home she was already asleep anyway. the rest of the week has been whatever. today, i hung out with denicar. i helped her add songs to her myspace then she came over and we rented movies from blockbuster. i still need to watch the movie i rented, Yours, Mine, & Ours. haha i only got it because sean farris is in it :D bahaha he's so hot. so yeah it's easter sunday! yay! no egg hunts for me this year. boo. :\ i'm "too old" for them now. haha oh well. i'm going to try and go to sleep since i have to be up early for church. blah

i have ZERO spring break plans. =( my mom just recently got back from the philippines so i doubt we'll be doing anything this year for my spring break. i just remembered my sister offering me to go visit them in oregon for spring break but i don't want to drive 10+ hours. blah. that's so long. i COULD fly BUT i want to have a car when i go there. i don't want to be stuck at their house without any transportation and what if my sister doesn't let me use their car? i wouldn't mind going shopping there since there is NO TAX. =D woo! haha but with what money? haha oh well. if i do plan on driving to oregon, anyone wana go with me? hehe but other than that i am completely FREE to do anything during spring break. EXCEPT for the paper i have due a week after spring break. hehe i'm going to actually start working on that. so yeah, if anyone has any ideas for spring break let me know! i'm down for almost anything! =D

so yeah, like i said before my aunt painted my room. i looove my room. it looks so much better than before. now that it's cleaner i can let people in my room now. ahaha i just need to get rid of my ugly ass curtains, take out my mom's clothes that are in my closet and put in mine, get rid of all my toys/board games, buy a new desk, and find somewhere else besides my room to put the stereo since i dont need it anymore. john told me to sell the stereo on ebay but what if i need it for a party and i dont want my mom's friends' cds on my ipod. so yeah, if my mom says that i can sell it maybe i will sell it. anybody need a sony 5-cd changer stereo w/ remote? haha

this weekend i drove to az to hang out with lonnie and kristin. fun times. the drive wasnt as fun though haha i drove SEVEN-EIGHT effin hours...so freakin long. i was finally a minority haha. where ever i went i was practically the ONLY asian. sometimes i saw one or two asians but the most asians i saw at one time was at costco. bahaha which was about 6? ahaha anyway, my last night in az was FUN! i went with kristin to her friend's house for game night. we played this game called curses and signs. i was the minority again...go figure haha i got to play board games with kristin's mormons friends! woo! hehe the drive home wasnt that bad. it took me 6 hours haha
when i got home, i found my room painted and rearranged. thanks to my auntie dadang! =D she moved my board games and rearranged my shelves. it looks a lot better. she also put all my stuffed animals on my top shelves and foud my stitch! =D i was wondering where my stitch was. i just need to get rid of my nasty curtains. haha theyre so ugly. so right now i'm watching the day after tomorrow. i should be doing homework but im pooped from driving for so long. i'll probably start my hw around 6-7. weeeee.

i woke up with a cough on thursday. i thought "no big deal" but i started feeling crappy during my sociology class. i sat out for self defense. i went out for sushi that night with my cousin, her husband, their kids, my aunt, and my mom. i woke up friday morning feeling worse so i just went to bowling. i had a fever this weekend but i'm feeling a little better. i decided to stay home from school tomorrow. maybe if i rest tomorrow and wednesday i'll be a lot better by thursday.
my mom is leaving on wednesday. i'm actually pretty sad that she's leaving. i think it's because i'm in baby-mode where i'm sick and i need my mommy. haha but really though, i will miss her. i'm jealous. everyone (well, not everyone) gets to go to the philippines while i have to stay here and go to school. my mom, my cousin, her husband, their kids, my aunt from seattle, her husband and son, and other relatives are going to the philippines this month for my dad's one year death anniversary. i'm stuck in cali. blah. oh well.
besides being sick, i finally got something that i've always wanted. i know i already had one, but it stopped working after a month. WTF right? i was bummed and pissed but now i have a new one! =D SCORE! i got a video ipod. woo! i miss having an ipod. when i had my ipod it wasn't a video ipod. it a regular one. now i can drown the world out with my music just like everyone else. i love my music taste. haha some people may think it's lame but i like it. my ipod music collection is like shaneisha's. it's not just focused on ONE genre. it's an array of different kinds. i've got hip hop, pop, "black" pop (lol), jazz, rock, etc. from ray charles to hilary duff (i must admit her music is pretty catchy; don't hate. i don't hate on who you listen to), relient k to snoop dogg, busta rhymes to kelly clarkson, high school musical to jack johnson, and what not. so yeah, i love music! =D

hello. my name is patrice and i am an american eagle junkie.
i can't help it. ever since i got my FIRST article of clothing from american eagle, i keep coming back for more. i ALWAYS walk into american eagle whenever i go to the mall even if i don't have any money. when i don't have money, i feel sad because there are stuff i want to buy but i can't since i'm broke as a joke. anyway, in the past two days i bought 10 shirts/tanks and a pair of pj shorts. that is about $142. i need to stop shopping all together.
also, i am now a cable tv junkie. all i do is watch tv. if i am not online or at home, i'll be sitting in my room watching directv. there is always something for me to watch. i love cable. now i know what i've been missing out on. i'm going to be a bigger couch potato. =( boo. haha
as of right now, i feel kinda bummed out. i have two papers due tomorrow but i don't feel like doing it. i like it when it's cloudy but not rainy days. rainy days make me feel lazy. too bad i don't have anyone to hang out with right now or a guy. boo. haha oh well, no biggy. i guess i'm going to try and start working on my papers.

so yeah this is kinda late to be updating about my birthday but here it is:
this was the first year i celebrated my birthday without my dad. =\ i celebrated it on my dad's birthday, feb 12, instead of feb 13. we had a dinner at the VIP buffet in la palma. there were about 40-45 of us that went. ahaha i got $500+ in cash, checks, and gift cards. woo! holla! my cake was the effin best cake ever! too bad i didnt have any candles to blow out. oh well. i had a lot of fun. i shouldnt have gone to ruby's earlier that day. all i had at VIP was just 2 plates of chicken sticks, steak, and noodles. my plates werent even filled up. so yeah, earlier that day i went to ruby's for lunch with denicar, maryanne, loretta, and amanda. maryanne had connections with a guy that works for ruby's so we had a complimentary meal. when i heard it was FREE, i just had to go. ahaha. each person got a free meal, one appetizer, free drinks, 2 free shakes, and one dessert. we had them sing happy birthday to me. ahaha i got to blow out a candle =D yay! i just hope my wish comes true.
on my actual birthday, feb 13, i went to claim jumper with my mom. just us. i think claim jumper is racist. they seated my mom and me in a secluded area. we were the only ones in that section. it was so lonely. haha i was like "segregation against filipinos!" i had a steak with a baked potato, two huge onion rings, and garlic cheese toast. it was YUMMY. after we were done, we ordered a cookies 'n' cream mudpie and since it was my birthday it was free. ahaha woo! i told them not to sing to me since we were the only ones in the section so it was just the waiter and my mom who sang happy birthday to me. LOL
so yeah, right now school is okay. its kinda blah but whatever. bowling and social dance was still the best classes. haha now i know how to salsa, cha-cha, waltz, swing, polka, samba, and fox trot. ahaha woo! holla at a playa! =D i went to hully gully last night with denicar, abigail, and eliel(?). it was 80s night. it was so weird going to hully gully. it was TOO close to home, TOO local. haha its basically one minute away. i could just walk there. it wasnt all that great. beat it was A LOT better. im planning on going to beat it the sunday my mom leaves for the philippines. anyone wana go? haha just let me know if youre down! =D
today:
i went to church and had a solo which i sucked at. ahaha oh well. then went to south coast plaza with my mom, auntie dadang, and denicar. we had lunch at the rainforest cafe. the only reason why we went to south coast was so my mom could go to the louis vuitton store. haha i got a few shirts from AE and some bras/undies at robinson's may. haha woo sale! well time to do some homework.

swing partner. whenever we had to switch partners, we just stayed with each other since no one else was switching. haha we had fun. fun times. i'll be 19 on monday! yay! i can't believe 19 years of my life has passed by. anyway, i should get to bed. i just finished watching ray; it's a GREAT movie. i have a lot more respect for jamie foxx and i have the urge to listen to ray charles more often. i need to look for my mom's ray charles cd. it's in her car some where. i hope i find it since her car is..NASTY. haha it's so messy. but yeah time for me to hit the hay. night! =D
oh yeah, for some reason this popped in my head. i told denicar that my goal for this year is to have a date for amicable's christmas party. ahaha i know it's only february but what's wrong with starting early? hehe ♥

today was fun.
i went to bed at 9:30pm last night and woke up at 10:30 this morning. 13 hours of sleep, wow. hehe i felt like getting some carl's jr since i had coupons courtesy of shaneisha but then thought about roscoe's chicken and waffles. i've always wanted to go there so i called up denicar to see if she wanted to go with me. she got out at 2pm so when she called me to tell me she was home i drove over to her house then headed to long beach. when we got to roscoe's house of chicken and waffles there was practically no one there. haha maybe because it was 3pm but anyway, we both ordered a chicken thigh w/ a waffle and shared a side of mac and cheese. the mac and cheese tasted very homey. hehe the waffle and chicken was good. yummy. denicar and i just talked and ate.
after roscoe's house of chicken and waffles, we went to heritage park in cerritos. denicar brought two packs of crackers so we could feed the ducks. there were A LOT of ducks. she showed me the cow duck and the DEFORMED duck. lol he looked all jacked up. he was a mix between a duck and a chicken. you know how those chickens have that red thing on their face well the duck had that. it looked ugly haha. i felt kind of bad for him. i took a pic or two of him. i also saw two bunnies! they were soooo cute! i tried to take a picture of one of them but it kept running away. =\ oh well. heritage park seems like a fun place to take your kids. if i ever have kids i plan on taking them there.
ahhh!!! my birthday is in 5 days! i'm excited! =D two more years until i can buy my own alcoholic beverage. lol yay! party @ the VIP buffet! woo! hehe then back to my house for more fun! =D too bad i'm not having my birthday party at my house =\ oh well. anyway, time to do some reading. night!

wow, i haven't updated this thing in forver. i doubt anyone will read this but whatever. i felt like updating so here i am.
first things first, i'm great! college is AWESOME! i love it the BEACH! hehe GO BEACH! WOO! 49ers! haha CSULB isn't as bad as i thought it would be. it's great. i made new friends in my classes. i even joined a club, PAC which is Pilipino American Coalition. i didn't think i was gona end up joining a "filipino club" but i thought i would give it a try and it turned out to be a lot of fun. woo! westside fam! wow wow westezy foshizzy....etc family! lol i have no clue what our family name is since its effin long. they keep adding to it every year so i don't know. WEST SIDE!!! haha too bad our family shrunk. it used to be the BIGGEST fam in PAC but my fam is cool. i also went to FRIENDSHIP GAMES with PAC at CSUFullerton. i had a BLAST! HELL NO FRIENDSHIP! haha i'm kidding. PAC = bad boys of friendship games. haha oh yeah, i doubt anyone would believe me when i say that i pledge for a SORORITY. haha i rushed and depledge for Kappa Psi Epsilon. i met a lot of girls there and they were cool. i'm just sad that i didn't get to continue pledging since there were so many events going on and i didn't have the time and committment for them. i just had other priorities i had to take of especially with my mom. since my dad passed away, all i have left is my mom. i need to spend more time with my mom. so pledging for kappa psi epsilon did not intentionally keep me from my mom but the truth is is that i spent less time with my mom. so anyway, i ended the semester on december 14. yay! I got all Bs except for an A in college algebra. lol woo!
christmas was good except for the fact this was the first christmas we spent without my dad. well, actually we have spent christmas without my dad before since he would be in the philippines fixing the house but this was different. i couldn’t just pick up the phone and tell him "merry christmas papa! I love you!" we spent christmas at m ate maybelle's house in glendale with her family, boogie, his wife, and their friend noel, my tita dadang, hercules! (dog), my other cousin and her kids. I had a great time but it just wasn’t the same not having my dad there. I actually almost cried when I went to sears with my mom. we went there for a sale and christmas shopping. when we passed by the men's section where they have the shirts, "undergarments", and pjs it reminded me of my dad how we always got stuff for him from that section. but I don't really need to worry my dad was there with us on christmas watching over us from heaven. there isn't a day where i am not thinking about him. love you papa<3 i hope you had a great christmas in heaven.
new years was a bit different this year. it actually wasn't just my parents and me or my parents and me at ate maybelle's house with them. I spent new year's at home with my mom, my tita dadang, hercules, john, and shaneisha. haha we had a lot of food and spent the night playing karaoke revolution. woo! at midnight, my mom threw quarters at us to pick up. haha woo money!
so I found out my mom has to send money to the PI for my dad's tombstone. my mom said she was only sending $5,000. she told me that she told my brother not to spend more than that because she knows my dad isn't like that. he likes things simple. it doesn't have to be all fancy or anything even if my brother wants it to be. my dad wouldn't care. my mom and i were joking around saying why spend so much money on a tombstone? just make our own. just spend about $20 by buying your own bags of cement and using a stick to write on the wet cement. haha my dad wouldn't mind since we're saving money and my dad always used to talk about saving money and not spending too much on things.
also, my mom's leaving for the PI on march 8 for the one year anniversary of my dad's death. She'll be gone probably the end of march or the beginning of april. i wish i could go but that's a long time and i'll be missing a lot of classes. i'll go next time. so since i'll be home alone, anyone wana come over and keep me company? or can i come over? lol
lately, i've been spending a lot of my time watching filipino cable, especially the filipino movie channel. haha it's great, but today after going to the PNB, my mom and i went into this filipino video store and bought some dvds. i got "say that you love me" and "can this be love" filipino love story movies. lol they're cute! and kinda sad, but i liked watching em with my mom especially with the english subtitles. lol i didn't have to ask my mom "what did he/she say?" hehe watching those movies made me wish i had a boyfriend. lol oh well. but anyway, wow this is a pretty long entry, but oh well. i doubt anyone is reading this but if you are i wouldn't mind getting any comments! lol im kidding. but anyway, good night.

i got bored so i attempted to curl my hair and took pics with my phone since my mom took my digicam with her to chicago. weee. she also came back last night. she got me candy, a purse, sweater and shirt that says chicago on it. =D woo!
i need to read and study for my psych quiz and pop quiz for world geography. blah. i also need to read chapter 4 for public speaking and pick a topic for my demonstrative speech. how fun.
college algebra is lame! my professor didnt like our team name, "sporks and foons" what a hater. he was like "it's cute but its not acceptable" what the effers?! basically the teams who had their team names ready, it all had to do with math except for "team ramrod" ahahaha. our prof wouldnt except that for a team name either. we wanted to be different and not be like the other teams who used math in their names like the "sociomaths" so now we're the "math rangers"! ahaha i wana be the blue math ranger. we have a team of 5. we should each be a different color math ranger. ahaha im such a dork. i was like "go go ma-ath rangers!" "plus sign!, minus sign!, square root!, equal sign!, etc" ahaha.
anyway, tonight is jam night at holy family. im going to support vj and denicar since their gona sing. wee. so yeah, time for me to start doing homework, studying, and reading. oh joy!
